A Man Called Otto​

The 2022 American comedy-drama directed by Marc Forster, with a screenplay by David Magee, is a remake of the 2015 Swedish film "A Man Called Ove," based on the novel of the same name by Fredrik Backman. The story centers on Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks), a 63-year-old widower who, following the death of his wife Sonya (Rachel Keller), becomes grumpy and reclusive, contemplating suicide. His plans are disrupted by the arrival of new neighbor Marisol (Mariana Treviño), an energetic and friendly woman of Mexican descent who moves in across the street with her family.
