Uncharted

A 2022 American action-adventure film directed by Ruben Fleischer, based on the popular video game series by Naughty Dog. The story follows young treasure hunter Nathan Drake (Tom Holland), who works as a bartender in New York but dreams of grand adventures. He is recruited by seasoned fortune seeker Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to help track down the legendary lost treasure of Ferdinand Magellan, hidden for over 500 years. Their quest turns into a perilous global adventure as they race against ruthless billionaire Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes the treasure rightfully belongs to his family. Also in pursuit is Moncada’s dangerous mercenary Jo Braddock (Tati Gabrielle). As Nathan faces deadly traps, betrayals, and high-stakes action, he must rely on his intelligence and emerging skills to outwit his enemies and prove himself as a true adventurer. The film features thrilling chase sequences, spectacular combat scenes, and a lighthearted sense of humor while setting the stage for potential future installments.
