Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme

Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme (stylized as Venus Vacation PRISM) is an upcoming dating simulation video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. March 27, 2025 is the launch date. Buyers can pick it up on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, while Microsoft Windows copies come through Steam and DMM Games. Similar to previous titles like Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 and Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation, this game will be available only in select Asian countries. Players assume the role of the manager of the Venus Islands, a tropical paradise where they interact with six female characters. Unlike previous entries where dating sim aspects were secondary, in Venus Vacation Prism, they are central to the story, which unfolds based on the player's choices, leading to multiple outcomes. A photo mode is accessible at any time during character episodes. By sharing photos of the participants in-game, a popularity gauge increases, advancing the Venus Festival. Once a certain popularity threshold is met, new outfits and hairstyles become available for the characters. The character roster includes: Misaki — a shy part-time staff member working alongside the manager. Fiona — a naive princess who fell for the manager at first sight. Elise — a beautiful yet strict supervisor sent to oversee activities on the Venus Islands. Tamaki — an alluring fashion designer and former model. Honoka — a laid-back schoolgirl with a secret (a character from the main Dead or Alive series). Nanami — a cool beauty visiting her childhood friend Misaki. The game was officially announced on September 27, 2024, by producer Yasunori Sakuda alongside voice actress Minami Tsuda. Asian versions of the game will support English subtitles. On November 1, 2024, the first trailer was released, confirming the final character lineup and an initial release date of March 6, 2025. However, on January 22, 2025, at the Taipei Game Show 2025, it was announced that the release date had been postponed to March 27, 2025, to allow for the addition of new episodes and quality improvements. The game is being developed using Koei Tecmo's in-house "Katana Engine".
