Vindictus

Vindictus is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by devCAT, a division of Nexon. The game serves as a prequel to Mabinogi and is known as Mabinogi Heroes in Asia. Set several hundred years before the events of Mabinogi, its lore is inspired by Celtic mythology. Players choose from several predefined characters, each possessing unique skills and combat styles. Combat occurs in instances—separate zones where groups of players battle monsters and bosses. The game utilizes the Source engine, providing high interactivity with the environment: objects can be destroyed or used as weapons. Vindictus received positive reviews for its graphics, combat system, and environmental physics. The game was honored with awards at the 2010 Korea Game Awards, including the "Grand Prize."
