Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

A Japanese action-adventure video game with beat 'em up and hack and slash elements, developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega, released on February 21, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows. It is a spin-off of the Like a Dragon series and takes place six months after the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Players control Goro Majima, who, after losing his memory, finds himself on an island near Hawaii and becomes the captain of the pirate ship "Goromaru," assembling a crew to search for treasure. The game features four main locations: Rich Island, Madlantis, Nele Island, and Honolulu. The combat system includes two styles: "Mad Dog," focusing on speed, and "Sea Dog," allowing the use of cutlasses, pistols, and other pirate tools, as well as aerial combos. Players can upgrade their ship, engage in real-time naval battles, and board enemy vessels. The game also offers various mini-games, including karaoke, kart racing, and a new activity called "Masaru's Love Journey."
