Who Framed Roger Rabbit

An American live-action/animated comedy film from 1988, directed by Robert Zemeckis. Set in 1947 Hollywood, where cartoon characters coexist with humans, private detective Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) is hired to investigate a case involving cartoon rabbit Roger (voiced by Charles Fleischer), who suspects his wife Jessica Rabbit (voiced by Kathleen Turner) of infidelity. When Toontown owner Marvin Acme (Stubby Kaye) is found dead, Roger is accused of murder. Eddie reluctantly agrees to help Roger, uncovering a conspiracy involving Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd), who aims to destroy Toontown. The film combines live-action with animation, featuring numerous well-known cartoon characters and exploring themes of betrayal, corruption, and redemption.
