An American action film created in 2002 in the United States by director Rob Cohen, it is the first installment in the xXx franchise. The story centers on Xander Cage (Vin Diesel), an extreme sports athlete and stuntman known for his daring feats and disdain for authority. After performing a bold stunt by stealing a senator's car and jumping it off a bridge, he is apprehended by the National Security Agency (NSA). NSA agent Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) offers Xander a deal: instead of prison, he can undertake a covert mission. His task is to infiltrate the terrorist organization "Anarchy 99," led by former Russian soldier Yorgi (Marton Csokas), which plans to use a biochemical weapon called "Silent Night" to attack world governments. During the mission, Xander meets Yelena (Asia Argento), Yorgi's lover, who is actually an undercover agent. Together, they strive to prevent the impending catastrophe. The film is renowned for its spectacular stunts, including snowboarding, motorcycle chases, and BASE jumps, as well as its dynamic soundtrack featuring bands like Rammstein and Orbital.
