The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

A 2008 American adventure fantasy action film directed by Rob Cohen, it is the third installment in the "Mummy" film series. The story is set in 1946 when Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and his wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) live a peaceful life in England but soon travel to China to deliver an ancient artifact to the Shanghai Museum. Their son Alex (Luke Ford), against his parents' wishes, engages in an archaeological excavation and discovers the tomb of the powerful Chinese Emperor Han (Jet Li), who was cursed thousands of years ago by the sorceress Zi Yuan (Michelle Yeoh), turning him and his army into terracotta statues. When General Yang (Anthony Wong), seeking to restore China's former glory, resurrects the emperor, Han gains the ability to transform into different forms and sets out to the Himalayas to attain immortality. The O'Connells join forces with Zi Yuan and her daughter Lin (Isabella Leong) to stop Han. In the climactic battle, the terracotta army clashes with an undead army raised by the sorceress. Ultimately, Alex and his parents defeat Han, while Lin and her mother finally break the ancient curse.
