Zoo Tycoon

A reboot of the renowned economic strategy series, developed by British studio Frontier Developments and published by Microsoft in 2013 exclusively for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Unlike the classic entries in the series, the new Zoo Tycoon focuses on 3D graphics and simplified controls optimized for gamepads. Players are tasked with building and managing a zoo, constructing enclosures, caring for animals, and developing infrastructure for visitors. A major innovation is the first-person mode, allowing players to interact with animals by feeding, grooming, and playing with them. The game features over 100 animal species, with highly detailed models designed to closely resemble their real-life counterparts. The gameplay combines elements of economic management with the freedom to explore the park. Zoo Tycoon includes both a single-player mode and a cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players, allowing collaborative zoo management. While the economic system is simplified compared to earlier titles, the game was well received for its realistic animal behaviors, visual fidelity, and accessibility to a broad audience.
