Absolute Power

A 1997 American political thriller directed and produced by Clint Eastwood, based on the novel by David Baldacci. The film stars Eastwood as veteran burglar Luther Whitney, who, during a heist, witnesses the murder of a woman by U.S. Secret Service agents. The victim is the mistress of President Alan Richmond (Gene Hackman). Whitney escapes but becomes the sole witness capable of exposing the president.
