A French detective TV series based on the works of Agatha Christie. Set in mid-20th century France, the show follows two main investigators solving intricate crimes: Commissioner Larosière (Antoine Duléry), a charismatic, insightful, and slightly eccentric detective, and his young assistant Inspector Lampion (Marianne Denicourt), an eager but somewhat naive officer. In later seasons, a new investigative duo takes over—Alice Avril (Blandine Bellavoir), an ambitious journalist, and Commissioner Swan Laurence (Samuel Labarthe). Each episode adapts one of Christie's classic novels with a unique French twist, modified details, and a fresh perspective on well-known stories. The series blends the elegance of the Golden Age of detective fiction with elements of light humor and engaging mysteries.
