Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships

A role-playing game with action and open-world elements, developed by Russian studio Seaward.ru and published by Akella in 2007 for Microsoft Windows. It is a continuation of the "Sea Dogs" series, building upon the concepts of previous games and offering players three unique characters: Peter Blood, Blaze Shark, and Beatrice Shark, each with their own storyline and starting conditions. Set in the Caribbean Sea in 1665, players can choose their path: become a pirate, serve one of the European powers, or engage in trade. Gameplay includes naval battles, boarding actions, trading, quest completion, exploration of new locations such as the City of Abandoned Ships and Tenochtitlan, and character development through a skill system. The game utilizes the Storm Engine 2.8, providing 3D graphics and realistic naval combat physics. In 2017, the game was digitally re-released on GOG and Steam under the name Sea Dogs: City of Abandoned Ships.
