Russian singer, actress, and television presenter, born on June 27, 1983, in Bugulma, Tatar ASSR. She began her musical career in 1998 at the age of 15, releasing debut singles "Zimniy son" and "Inogda," which brought her widespread recognition. In 1999, she released her first album "Alsou," selling over 700,000 copies. In 2000, she represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Solo," achieving second place, which was the country's highest result at that time. Subsequently, she signed a contract with Universal Music and released the English-language album "Alsou," distributed in several countries, including Germany, Austria, and Thailand. In 2003, she released the album "19," featuring hits like "Vchera" and "Vse ravno," selling over 800,000 copies. In 2008, she released the album "Samoe glavnoe," followed by "Rodnaya rech" in 2010, containing songs in Tatar and Bashkir languages. She is also known for her lullaby songs, including the album "Feya dobrykh snov" (2012). In 2009, she hosted the Eurovision final in Moscow. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards, including the titles of People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (2010), People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan (2019), and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2018).
