Astellia

Astellia is a fantasy MMORPG developed by the South Korean studio Studio 8 and released in 2019. The game delivers a classic massively multiplayer online role-playing experience with deep character progression mechanics, cooperative and competitive content. At the core of the gameplay is the "Astell" system, where players can summon magical creatures to aid them in battle. Each Astell can be upgraded and customized, allowing for unique combat strategies. The game features multiple character classes, including warrior, archer, mage, assassin, and priest, each with distinct abilities. Players can engage in large-scale PvE missions, dungeons, raids, and PvP arenas, as well as explore an open world with dynamic events. The visual style follows a classic fantasy aesthetic, with detailed character models and picturesque environments. Astellia was originally released as a buy-to-play title but later transitioned to a free-to-play model. Despite its ambitions, the game was shut down in 2021 due to declining player interest.
