Bimmer

A 2003 Russian crime action film directed by Pyotr Buslov. The film tells the story of four friends from Moscow's criminal underworld: Petya "Rama" (Sergey Gorobchenko), Kostya "Kot" (Vladimir Vdovichenkov), Dimon "Oshparenny" (Andrey Merzlikin), and Lyokha "Killa" (Maxim Konovalov). After an accidental road shooting resulting in the death of an FSB officer, they decide to flee the city in a stolen BMW 750iL ("bimmer"). Their journey turns into a perilous road trip across Russian highways, where they face various challenges: lack of money, issues with the police, and encounters with other criminals. As events unfold, the friendships are tested, revealing personal dramas and internal conflicts. The film portrays the atmosphere of late 1990s Russia, depicting life without embellishment and avoiding romanticizing the criminal world.​
