Clay Pigeons

The 1998 American black comedy, marking David Dobkin's directorial debut, follows Clay Bidwell (Joaquin Phoenix), a young man from a small Montana town whose life spirals into chaos after his friend Earl (Gregory Sporleder) commits suicide upon discovering Clay's affair with his wife Amanda (Georgina Cates). Attempting to cover up the incident, Clay becomes entangled in a series of murders, including the mysterious death of waitress Gloria (Nikki Arlyn). He inadvertently befriends the charismatic truck driver Lester Long (Vince Vaughn), who turns out to be a serial killer aiming to "help" Clay by eliminating people from his life.
