DC League of Super-Pets

An American computer-animated superhero comedy film from 2022, based on DC Comics characters. Directed by Jared Stern, who also co-wrote the screenplay with John Whittington, the story follows Krypto the Superdog (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), the pet of Superman (John Krasinski), possessing superpowers similar to his owner. Krypto and Superman are inseparable friends, fighting crime together in Metropolis. However, when Lex Luthor (Marc Maron) and his henchwoman guinea pig Lulu (Kate McKinnon) capture the Justice League, including Superman, Krypto becomes the only one who can save them. Having lost his powers due to a piece of kryptonite, Krypto is forced to seek help from a group of shelter animals who have recently acquired superpowers. Among them are Ace the hound (Kevin Hart), endowed with superhuman strength and invulnerability; PB the pig (Vanessa Bayer), capable of changing her size; Merton the turtle (Natasha Lyonne), possessing super speed; and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna), who has electrokinetic abilities. Together, they form a team of super-pets to rescue the Justice League and thwart Lex Luthor and Lulu's plans to take over the world. The film combines elements of comedy, adventure, and superhero action, offering viewers an engaging story about friendship, teamwork, and heroism.
