The New Mutants

A 2020 American superhero horror film based on the Marvel Comics team of the same name. Directed by Josh Boone, the story follows five young mutants: Rahne Sinclair (Maisie Williams), Illyana Rasputin (Anya Taylor-Joy), Samuel Guthrie (Charlie Heaton), Roberto da Costa (Henry Zaga), and Danielle Moonstar (Blu Hunt). They are held in an isolated medical facility under the supervision of Dr. Cecilia Reyes (Alice Braga), who claims to help them control their abilities. As events unfold, the young mutants begin to confront their worst fears, which mysteriously come to life. They realize that they are being held not for assistance but for other purposes and decide to unite to escape and understand the nature of their powers.
