American rapper, producer, and entrepreneur, born on September 7, 1964, in Compton, California. He began his music career in 1985 and co-founded Ruthless Records with Jerry Heller in 1987. That same year, he became a founding member of the group N.W.A alongside Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella. The group released their debut album "N.W.A. and the Posse" in 1987, followed by the groundbreaking "Straight Outta Compton" in 1988, which played a pivotal role in popularizing gangsta rap. After Ice Cube's departure in 1989 and Dr. Dre's in 1991, Eazy-E pursued a solo career, releasing the EPs "5150: Home 4 tha Sick" in 1992 and "It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa" in 1993, the latter achieving platinum status and featuring the diss track "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" aimed at Dr. Dre. He also signed and promoted the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, aiding their rise in the early 1990s. Eazy-E passed away on March 26, 1995, due to complications from AIDS, leaving a significant legacy in hip-hop.
