Russian hip-hop group formed in 2003 in Moscow by artists Anton Chernyak (known as Shilo) and Dmitry Fain (Feldman), who met while studying at the Moscow State Academic Art School in Memory of 1905 and previously participated in the art group "FenSo." In 2004, they were joined by beatmaker Sergey Krylov (DJ Polutrup), who was replaced in 2007 by Konstantin Rudchik (Phantomas 2000), who has also performed backing vocals since 2011. The group is known for their satirical compositions with grotesque criminal themes, delivered in a monotonous recitative filled with profanity, which has become their signature style. Their debut album "Reka Krovi" was released in 2004 and included tracks such as "Biography" and "Baklany," which quickly gained popularity in the underground scene. In subsequent years, the group released albums "Skvoznoe" (2006), "Gantelya" (2008), "Studen" (2012), "Lombard" (2015), "ChB" (2018), and "Nauka" (2021), each solidifying their status as one of the most original and provocative acts on the Russian rap scene. Despite mixed reception and bans on some concerts, Krovostok continues to actively perform and release new music, remaining an influential figure in Russian musical culture.
