Flags of Our Fathers

The 2006 American war drama film, directed, produced, and scored by Clint Eastwood, is based on the book of the same name by James Bradley and Ron Powers. It tells the story of six American servicemen—five Marines and one Navy corpsman—who were involved in the iconic flag-raising on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945.
