The 2012 American biographical romantic drama directed by Sacha Gervasi is based on Stephen Rebello's book "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho." The film portrays the period in director Alfred Hitchcock's (Anthony Hopkins) life and his relationship with his wife, Alma Reville (Helen Mirren), during the production of the iconic thriller "Psycho" in 1959.
