Jack and Jill

The 2011 American comedy directed by Dennis Dugan, with a screenplay by Steve Koren and Adam Sandler, centers on the life of advertising executive Jack Sadelstein (Adam Sandler), who resides in Los Angeles with his wife Erin (Katie Holmes) and their children. His routine is disrupted by the annual visit of his twin sister Jill (also portrayed by Adam Sandler), whose behavior irritates him. This time, Jill decides to extend her stay, leading to a series of comedic and awkward situations. In an attempt to get rid of his sister, Jack discovers that actor Al Pacino (playing himself) has unexpectedly become infatuated with Jill, which Jack tries to leverage for his professional gain. The film features numerous celebrity cameos, including Johnny Depp and Shaquille O’Neal. Despite the involvement of well-known actors, the film received extremely negative reviews from critics and audiences alike, garnering only a 3% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. At the 32nd Golden Raspberry Awards, the film set a record by winning in all ten categories, including Worst Picture, Worst Actor and Worst Actress for Adam Sandler, as well as Worst Supporting Actor for Al Pacino.
