Journey to Shiloh

This 1968 American Western film, directed by William Hale and written by Gene L. Coon, is based on the novel by Will Henry. The story follows seven young Texans, calling themselves the "Concho County Comanches," who, at the onset of the American Civil War, decide to volunteer for the Confederate Army and journey to Shiloh, Tennessee, where a major battle is anticipated.
