Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Wes Ball directed this American science fiction action film from 2024, working from a script by Josh Friedman. It comes fourth among the rebooted "Planet of the Apes" films and tenth in the franchise as a whole. The story is set 300 years after the events of "War for the Planet of the Apes" and follows an ape named Noa (Owen Teague), who lives in a nomadic tribe. The ape world is divided into feudal kingdoms, with some seeking to expand their power while others strive to preserve Caesar's legacy. Noa embarks on a journey to uncover lost elements of the past and unite the fragmented tribes in the face of a new threat. Freya Allan portrays a human girl named Maya, and Kevin Durand plays Proximus, an ambitious ape leader aiming for technological advancement. William H. Macy also appears in the film as a mysterious character. The movie explores themes of power, legacy, and survival in a post-apocalyptic world where apes dominate, and humans struggle for their place.
