Man on Fire​

The 2004 American crime thriller directed by Tony Scott, with a screenplay by Brian Helgeland, is based on the novel of the same name by A. J. Quinnell. Set in Mexico City, the film follows former CIA operative John Creasy (Denzel Washington), who, battling depression and alcoholism, accepts a job as the bodyguard for nine-year-old Pita Ramos (Dakota Fanning), the daughter of wealthy industrialist Samuel Ramos (Marc Anthony) and his wife Lisa (Radha Mitchell). Initially distant and cold, Creasy gradually forms a deep bond with Pita, which rekindles his sense of purpose.
