Missing in Action

An American action film from 1984 directed by Joseph Zito. The plot follows Colonel James Braddock (Chuck Norris), a U.S. military officer who spent two and a half years in a North Vietnamese prison camp, from which he escaped ten years earlier. After the war, Braddock joins a government investigation team sent to Ho Chi Minh City to verify reports of U.S. soldiers still held captive. Upon obtaining evidence, Braddock travels to Thailand to rescue the imprisoned soldiers. Throughout his mission, he faces numerous dangers while aiming to free the prisoners and dismantle the Vietnamese military infrastructure. This film is the first installment in the Braddock series, continuing the theme of the Vietnam War's POW/MIA issues.
