Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

A 2011 American spy action film directed by Brad Bird. The plot follows the IMF team after a bombing at the Kremlin, for which they are blamed, leading the U.S. government to initiate "Ghost Protocol," disavowing the agency. Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team, including analyst William Brandt (Jeremy Renner), tech specialist Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), and agent Jane Carter (Paula Patton), are forced to operate without support to prevent a global nuclear catastrophe. Their mission is to stop the mad terrorist Kurt Hendricks (Michael Nyqvist), known as Cobalt, who aims to start a nuclear war to "cleanse" humanity. The team travels worldwide, facing dangers and betrayals, to prevent the launch of a nuclear missile.
