Mission: Impossible III

A 2006 American spy action film directed by J.J. Abrams. The plot follows former IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise), who has retired and is living with his fiancée Julia (Michelle Monaghan). His peaceful life is disrupted when his former trainee, Lindsey Farris (Keri Russell), is captured by arms dealer Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman). Ethan assembles a team, including Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), Declan Gormley (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), and Zhen (Maggie Q), to rescue Lindsey. The operation faces challenges, and Lindsey dies due to a microchip implanted in her head. Ethan seeks revenge and captures Davian in the Vatican, but Davian escapes and kidnaps Julia. To save her, Ethan is forced to obtain a mysterious artifact called the "Rabbit's Foot" for Davian. In the final confrontation, Ethan defeats Davian and rescues Julia, uncovering a betrayal within the IMF in the process.
