Monaco Forever

The 1984 American short film directed by William A. Levey tells the story of a jeweler traveling through Monte Carlo. The protagonist (Charles Kuhio) finds himself entangled in a series of events involving the criminal underworld and alluring women. Throughout the film, he encounters various characters, including a thief, a mysterious woman, and a homosexual karate fighter (Jean-Claude Van Damme), who makes an early but memorable appearance in a minor role. The film is filled with an atmosphere of luxury and light eroticism, capturing the essence of the rich and dangerous life of Monte Carlo. Though only about 48 minutes long, it remains notable for featuring one of Van Damme’s earliest screen roles.
