Poor Sasha

A 1997 New Year's comedy about an unexpected friendship, family values, and the search for happiness. The main character, 12-year-old Sasha (Ekaterina Mikhaylovskaya), is the daughter of a wealthy and successful businesswoman, Ksenia (Vera Glagoleva). Despite her luxurious life, Sasha feels lonely, as her mother is always busy with work. Meanwhile, an experienced but unlucky thief named Tolyan (Alexander Zbruyev) escapes from prison and attempts to rob Sasha’s house. However, instead of being scared, the girl offers him a deal: she will help him if he kidnaps her to get her mother's attention.
