Red Dragon

The 2002 American psychological thriller directed by Brett Ratner is an adaptation of Thomas Harris's novel of the same name and serves as a prequel to "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) and "Hannibal" (2001). The story centers on former FBI agent Will Graham (Edward Norton), who possesses a unique ability to empathize with serial killers, a skill that previously enabled him to capture the cannibalistic Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) but led to a mental breakdown and his retirement. Years later, Graham is drawn back into service to track down a new serial killer known as "The Tooth Fairy"—Francis Dolarhyde (Ralph Fiennes), who murders entire families during full moons. To understand the killer's motives, Graham seeks assistance from the incarcerated Lecter, leading to a dangerous psychological game between them.
