Serf 2

A 2023 Russian comedy directed by Klim Shipenko. The film follows Katya (Aglaya Tarasova), a spoiled girl from a wealthy family, who, during her birthday celebration in Saint Petersburg, engages in hooliganism by knocking swimmers into the water and hijacking a police boat, leading to an accident. Her mother, Tatyana Novikova (Natalya Rogozhkina), a high-ranking official, decides that her daughter should face punishment, and Katya receives a real prison sentence. Meanwhile, Grisha (Miloš Biković), who previously participated in a similar re-education experiment, now manages an unprofitable eco-hotel and exhibits his former arrogant behavior. Learning about Katya's situation, he decides to revive the re-education project, kidnaps her, and places her in conditions imitating the 19th century. However, the lack of a clear plan and script leads to comedic situations as the actors improvise in their attempts to reform Katya. The film also stars Aleksandr Samoylenko as Pavel Sergeevich, Maria Mironova as Anastasia, and Ivan Okhlobystin as Lev Arnoldovich, a psychologist and Anastasia's ex-husband.
