Russian rap artist, poet, streamer, and battle rapper, born on May 9, 1990, in Khabarovsk. He began his musical career in 2009 under the pseudonym Sulla MC and later became known as Slava KPSS, along with numerous other aliases, including Gnoiny, Sonya Marmeladova, Valentin Dyadka, and Buter Brodsky. In 2013, he joined the battle league SlovoSPB, where in 2014, under the name Gnoiny, he won the first season. In 2016, he became a resident of the "Renaissance" label and co-founder of the creative collective "Antihype." He gained widespread recognition after a battle with Oxxxymiron in 2017, which garnered millions of views and became a significant event in Russian battle rap. His work is characterized by a satirical, provocative, and nihilistic style, often addressing social and political issues. His discography includes over ten studio albums, such as "Sun of the Dead" (2017), "The Monster That Destroyed the World" (2020), "Gorgorod 2" (2023) — a parody sequel to Oxxxymiron's album, created with audience participation through streams, and the series of albums "Russia34," "Russia24," and "Russia14" (2024–2025), reflecting his political views. He is also known for his experiments in various musical genres, including hip-hop, grime, and experimental music. Slava KPSS remains one of the most prominent and controversial figures in contemporary Russian musical culture.
