Terrifier 2

"Terrifier 2" is a 2022 American supernatural slasher film, the sequel to "Terrifier" (2016) and the third installment in the franchise created by Damien Leone. The film follows the resurrection of Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) after the events of the first part. He returns to Miles County on Halloween Eve, initiating a new series of murders. The central character is Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera), a teenager crafting an angel-warrior costume based on her late father's sketches. Her younger brother Jonathan (Elliot Fullam) becomes intrigued by Art after discovering their father's drawings related to the clown. On Halloween night, Sienna confronts Art and realizes that only she can stop him. The film received high praise from critics, who noted improvements over the first installment and lauded Lauren LaVera's performance. It premiered at the Fantastic Fest and FrightFest festivals on August 29, 2022, and was released in the US on October 6, 2022. The sequel, "Terrifier 3," was released in October 2024.
