The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

An American Western anthology film from 2018, created by the Coen brothers, comprising six segments, each telling a distinct story set on the American frontier. In the first segment, "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," singing cowboy Buster Scruggs (Tim Blake Nelson) travels the Wild West, showcasing his musical and shooting skills until he encounters a young gunslinger (Willie Watson) who defeats him in a duel. The third segment, "Meal Ticket," portrays a traveling impresario (Liam Neeson) and his limbless performer (Harry Melling), whose fortunes change with the arrival of a new attraction. In "All Gold Canyon," an old prospector (Tom Waits) discovers a rich gold vein but faces dangers while protecting his find. The fifth story, "The Gal Who Got Rattled," follows a young woman, Alice Longabaugh (Zoe Kazan), journeying west in a wagon train, where she encounters hardships and makes life-altering decisions. In the final segment, "The Mortal Remains," five strangers travel in a stagecoach, discussing life and death until they reach a mysterious hotel.
