The Departed

"The Departed" is a 2006 crime thriller directed by Martin Scorsese, based on the Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs." Set in Boston, the story follows the conflict between the Irish mob, led by crime boss Frank Costello, and the state police. The film focuses on two men with opposite fates: Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio), a cop undercover in Costello's gang, and Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon), a mob mole embedded within the police force.
