A 2024 South Korean action crime film directed by Heo Myung-haeng. The movie is the fourth installment in the "Crime City" series and is based on real events from November 2015 in Pattaya, Thailand, where South Koreans kidnapped and exploited programmers to operate illegal gambling websites. The plot centers on Detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok), who investigates a money laundering case linked to online gambling and murders. His investigation leads to a confrontation with former Special Forces operative Baek Chang-gi (Kim Mu-yeol), who heads a criminal organization. The film explores themes of corruption, justice, and the fight against organized crime. It premiered on February 23, 2024, at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival and was released in South Korea on April 24, 2024, in IMAX and 4DX formats. The movie received positive reviews from critics and grossed $83.5 million, becoming the second-highest-grossing Korean film of 2024 and the eighth-highest in Korean cinema history.
