Bright

The 2017 American fantasy action film directed by David Ayer and written by Max Landis presents an alternate version of modern-day Los Angeles, where humans coexist with mythical creatures such as orcs, elves, and fairies. Ward and Jakoby must overcome personal differences and unite to protect Tikka and prevent catastrophe. The film explores themes of racial discrimination, social injustice, and corruption, intertwined with elements of magic and fantasy. Despite negative critical reviews, "Bright" became one of Netflix's most-watched original films, garnering over 11 million views in the U.S. within its first three days of release.
