A 1982 American science fiction horror film directed by John Carpenter, based on John W. Campbell's novella Who Goes There?. The plot is set in an isolated Antarctic research station, where a group of American scientists encounters an alien life form capable of imitating any living being. As they realize the creature can take the appearance of one of the team members, paranoia and fear begin to rise among them.
