Cube 2: Hypercube

A 2002 Canadian science fiction horror film, serving as the second installment in the "Cube" film series and a sequel to the original 1997 film. Directed by Andrzej Sekuła and written by Sean Hood, "Cube 2: Hypercube" shifts from the industrial rooms with mechanical traps of the first film to high-tech, brightly lit chambers where the traps are based on distortions of time, space, and reality. As they navigate the cube, they encounter various anomalies such as shifting gravity, time distortions, and deadly traps. It gradually becomes apparent that they are all connected to the enigmatic IZON corporation, which is involved in developing military technologies. In the film's conclusion, Kate, the sole survivor, discovers she was part of an experiment and is terminated by corporate agents upon exiting the cube. The film delves into themes of paranoia, human nature under extreme conditions, and the concept of multidimensional space.
