The Wedding Planner

The 2001 American romantic comedy directed by Adam Shankman follows Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez), a successful wedding planner in San Francisco who is dedicated to her career and has little time for personal relationships. One day, Mary is rescued from an accident by the charming Dr. Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey), and a mutual attraction develops between them. On the day both weddings are scheduled, Fran decides to call off her ceremony, realizing she's not ready for marriage. Steve, acknowledging his feelings for Mary, rushes to stop her wedding to Massimo. Ultimately, they both realize they are meant for each other, and the film concludes with them dancing together in the park.
