A Canadian science fiction television series from 1999, influenced by the works of Philip K. Dick, such as "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" and "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", as well as the visual style of the film "Blade Runner". Set in the year 2070, Earth is governed by a unified government, with Mars and other planets colonized. The main character, Detective David Hume (Michael Easton), works for a police agency investigating crimes involving androids and powerful corporations. His partner, Ian Farve (Karl Pruner), is revealed to be an android, adding complexity to their partnership. Together, they confront corruption, technological threats, and moral dilemmas, exploring the boundaries between human and machine. The series consists of one season with 22 episodes and was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, as a Canadian-German co-production.
