Welcome, or No Trespassing

A 1964 Soviet comedy directed by Elem Klimov, satirically portraying life in a pioneer camp. After breaking the rules, young pioneer Kostya Inochkin (Viktor Kosykh) is expelled from the camp and sent home, but unwilling to part with his friends, he secretly returns. Meanwhile, the camp remains under the strict leadership of Director Dynin (Yevgeny Yevstigneyev), who is obsessed with order and discipline. Kostya hides while his friends do everything they can to keep him from being caught. The film humorously critiques bureaucracy and excessive control while remaining a lighthearted and warm story about childhood, friendship, and freedom.
