3D Printing

It was first realized in 1984 by American engineer Chuck Hull, who invented stereolithography — the first 3D printing technology using light to cure photopolymer resin. It enables the creation of both unique objects and small production runs without expensive molds and allows for complex geometries that are difficult or impossible to achieve through traditional manufacturing. The practice involves preparing a digital model, slicing it into layers, setting print parameters, and monitoring the process. Modern 3D printers range from hobbyist desktop machines to industrial-grade systems, and the growth of open-source software has contributed to its broad accessibility.
