The story follows Peter Dragon (Jay Mohr), a successful yet cynical Hollywood producer known for his box-office hits, who faces major struggles in both his professional and personal life. After his latest movie flops, he desperately tries to rebuild his reputation while dealing with the whims of studio executives, eccentric actors and writers, and his own tendency for self-sabotage. His unlikely ally becomes Wendy Ward (Illeana Douglas), a former prostitute with an unconventional perspective on the film industry who surprisingly proves to be a crucial asset in his career. The show provides a satirical and ruthless look behind the scenes of Hollywood, mocking the greed, immorality, and absurdity of the movie business.
