Anitta

Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, and entrepreneur, born on March 30, 1993, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She began singing at age 8 in a church choir in the Honório Gurgel neighborhood. In 2010, after posting a video on YouTube, she was discovered by producer Renato Azevedo (Batutinha) and signed with the label Furacão 2000, releasing her debut single "Eu Vou Ficar". In 2013, she signed with Warner Music Brasil and released the single "Meiga e Abusada", which became a hit. Her debut album "Anitta" (2013) included the single "Show das Poderosas", which became one of the most popular songs in Brazil. In the following years, she released albums "Ritmo Perfeito" (2014), "Bang!" (2015), "Kisses" (2019), and "Versions of Me" (2022). The single "Envolver" from the latest album reached number one on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, making her the first Brazilian artist to top a global music chart. Anitta has collaborated with artists such as J Balvin, Madonna, Cardi B, and Snoop Dogg. She has received numerous awards, including MTV Europe Music Awards, and was recognized as one of the most influential celebrities on social media by Billboard in 2017.
