Austin Powers in Goldmember

A 2002 American spy comedy film directed by Jay Roach, written by Mike Myers and Michael McCullers. It is the third and final installment in the Austin Powers film series. Mike Myers portrays four characters: Austin Powers, his nemesis Dr. Evil, the eccentric villain Goldmember, and the obese Fat Bastard. The film opens with a parody of James Bond films, featuring a movie within a movie. The main plot centers on the kidnapping of Austin's father, Nigel Powers (Michael Caine), orchestrated by Dr. Evil and Goldmember. Austin travels back to 1975 to rescue his father and thwart their plan to destroy Earth using a giant meteor. He is assisted by his former lover and partner, Foxxy Cleopatra (Beyoncé Knowles). The film is rich in parody, pop culture references, and celebrity cameos, including Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears, and Steven Spielberg.
