Johnny English Strikes Again

The 2018 British spy comedy directed by David Kerr, written by William Davies, is the third installment in the Johnny English franchise. Following a cyber attack that exposes all active MI7 agents, the only hope is retired agent Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson), now a teacher at a private school. Recalled to duty, he teams up with his loyal assistant Bough (Ben Miller) to track down the mysterious hacker. Their investigation leads to Jason Volta (Jake Lacy), a charismatic tech billionaire aiming to control global information networks. During the mission, English encounters agent Ophelia Bhuletova (Olga Kurylenko), whose true intentions remain unclear. The British Prime Minister (Emma Thompson) becomes entangled in a complex scheme, where English must rely on his outdated but proven methods to save the country. The film is filled with comedic situations, including virtual reality mishaps and malfunctioning gadgets. The soundtrack was composed by Howard Goodall. With a budget of $25 million, the film grossed $159 million worldwide.
