A 1968 American spy comedy film directed by Phil Karlson. It is the fourth and final installment in the Matt Helm series, loosely based on Donald Hamilton's novel. Count Contini (Nigel Green) plans to steal a billion dollars in gold and bring the world economy down with it. The secret agency ICE puts its man Matt Helm (Dean Martin) on the villain's trail, and the chase leads to Copenhagen. There a guide, Freya Carlson (Sharon Tate), joins him, and she turns out to be a British agent working in secret. Using various gadgets, Helm creates chaos at Contini's chateau, then pursues him to a train to recover the stolen gold. The film combines humor, action, and spy tropes, providing a unique conclusion to the series.
